What is Yoga Breathing?

Yoga Breathing or Pranayama in fact means controlled breathing in order the practitioner to achieve good health and good body condition. This is very popular technique while practicing Yoga, in fact some Yogis can’t imagine the practice without use of Pranayama.
Pranayama is very important to the Yogi more for accomplishing spiritual state of being.

Sometimes is just enough to practice the Pranayama without meditation, as Pranayama may be considered as a form of meditation.
The word Pranayama means controlled breathing and it comes from the words:
– Phrana – which means life force energy
– Yama – meaning discipline

In fact, Pranayama is preparation for meditation, and it is very beneficial for the energy body and the health in general.
Through our daily routine we forget about our breath, we forget how to breathe properly and Pranayama gets us back to that, get us back to our natural way of breathing.

As a proper way of breathing increases the level of oxygen to our body, that way our body is field with more phrana, making our body work the best way possible.
Through our daily lives and the stress that we experience, we forget about our breath,

Practicing Pranayama teaches us the proper way of breathing.

Pranayama offers many benefits such as:
-larger lunge capacity
– releases our body from toxins and stressful conditions
– improves the digestion, the metabolism, the self-control is improved, the focus and the concentration as well.
Accomplishing good self-control is one of the best benefits that Pranayama offers us.
